  3. Z39.58 is a standard from NISO known as the Common Command Language
  4. standard.  I have just received the latest draft of the standard and will
  5. add to this section in the near future.  Basic searches are in the form:

  7.       FIND [index name] [search terms]
  8.  
  9. The following are common index names:
  10.  
  11.       au         author search
  12.       ti         title search
  13.       to         topic search (Dartmouth only)
  14.       su         subject search (Harvard only)
  15.  
  16. Examples:

  18.       FIND AU Twain
  19.       FIND TI Dune
  20.       FIND SU Space
  21.  
  22. The DISPLAY command will display the results.
  23.  
  24. Type HELP for help.
  25.
